ಭಾವ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಾವ

ಹವೆಯೊಂದು ಹೀಗೆ  ಸುಳಿದಾಡೆ ಬಂತು 
ಲತೆಯದುರಿತು,
ಹೂ ಉದುರಿತು.
ಹವೆಯದಲ್ಲ, ಹೂವಿನದಲ್ಲ,
ತಪ್ಪು ಯಾರದ್ದು?
ಪರಿಮಳ ಹವೆಯಲಿ ಕಳದೇ ಹೋಯ್ತು,
ಏನು ಉಳಿಯುತು!?

a light breeze passes by,
shivers a branch, fell
a flower.
of the breeze, none;
nor flower's;
whose fallacy it is!?
fragrance lost -
in the thin air,
nothing lasts!?
